The mission of the organization is built into its name:  Repasts Present - prepared from the bounty of our region, by talented, generous hands, shared in the warmth and comfort of our home with friends and acquaintances, supporting Repasts Future - the development of affordable, accessible, nutritious food that builds and nourishes the land, rather than taking from our children’s inheritance. Food is a powerful force in health, community and economy. Past, present and future are woven into this study, intention and action to expand our power and potential.

Repasts, Present and future continues this mission with events that bring awareness and support to existing local organizations working in the growing, marketing and sustainability of our food network. Future projects will support farm and food service careers with dignity (right-livelihood), micro-credit systems, farm to consumer networks and edible schoolyards.
