Hey, Lisa's having a party at her place: Local Foods Potluck, Sunday, September 14, 6p-10p. Here's the rules o' the road: harvest or purchase local ingredients from your own garden, farmers, farm markets, CSAs, locally owned food shops or anywhere else that will keep our food dollars right here in our community. Make something deelish with what you have, and bring it on over to share with others. Not feeling the urge to mix, cook, or bake? That's okay--pick up some prepared food sourced locally from Harvest Kitchen, Juicy Kitchen, Argus Farm Stop, or the People's Food Co-op Ann Arbor, or anywhere else that supports sourcing locally grown food. THIS IS NOT A FUNDRAISER. Sorry for yelling, just want to be clear this is not a Selma Cafe sponsored event. It's a party. At my house. No money or donations accepted. Come on by and celebrate growing our local food shed, one fab dinner at a time. Along with your food, bring something you like to drink. Appetizers, salads, soups, casseroles, omnivore, vegetarian, vegan--all are welocme.
Please consider biking or walking over. If you are driving, please park in the Eberwhite school parking lot, and drive considerately.
